DIY: FLORAL NAME WREATH
Sara’s floral name wreath is something I wanted to make for her by hand just so it’s extra special for her! I knew I wanted to do something classy and simple, so I thought this would work perfectly — especially since the “theme” of her nursery is floral!

IT’S HALF THE PRICE!
When I was looking for inspiration for her crib wall, I came across these floral name wreaths all over Etsy — and let me tell you, they can be expensive! I was seeing them go for around $150 and up, especially if you wanted a decent sized wreath. After buying everything I needed, I only spent about $75! How crazy?!
I knew I didn’t want just a tiny 12” wreath on the wall behind her crib — it would’ve looked too small and just not proportionate at all! So, I thought a 19” wreath would be perfect and it is! However, they were so expensive if I wanted it all custom made! I don’t mind paying that much, but when it’s something I know is pretty simple to do and that I can do myself, then I’ll just do it myself and save the money. Plus, it makes it more special!
I purchased all the things I needed off Amazon! The only thing I purchased outside of Amazon was the actual name itself, which I had custom made on Etsy! I was surprised at how cheap it was to get her name customized (only $28). It’s made out of wood but painted in either silver, gold, or rose gold — I chose gold! When it came in, I was shocked at how beautiful it was! They did a great job — just make sure they know you need the name to be exactly 18” that way it can fit properly in the ring. I linked their Etsy shop below with the product links, too!
DIY: STEP BY STEP
I’m not going to lie — this did take me some time. I would say a good two hours, lol. I’m not sure why it took that long for me, but it did! What would speed it up are some pliers! So if you have pliers, use them. If not, scissors will work but will take some extra strength.
