CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE SQUARES

Here’s a yummy, quick recipe to the perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie Squares! 🍪 All you need is one bowl, an electric mixer, some basic pantry ingredients, and fifteen minutes of your time. Grab a glass of milk and enjoy these one bite at a time!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°. In a large bowl, cream together the butter with both the white and brown sugar. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mix until combined.
  2. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt to the bowl and mix until fully combined. Then, mix in the chocolate chips.
  3. Gently flatten out the cookie dough evenly across a greased rectangular baking pan. Don’t flatten it too much — just enough to make it even. Bake at 350° for around 15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  4. Remove and allow it to cool down for about 10 minutes before carefully cutting into squares. Enjoy nice and warm or crispy the next day!

​Note: Keep cookies stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days. You can pop them in the microwave if you prefer them warm the next day! I personally enjoy them crispy! 😋
