Preheat the oven to 350°. Cream together the sugar and butter in a large mixing bowl with and electric mixer. Beat in the mashed bananas. Add in the eggs and vanilla, then mix until combined.
Add the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon to the wet ingredients. Mix until thoroughly combined, scraping the sides when needed. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Line a bread pan with parchment paper or spray with a nonstick baking spray. Bake at 350° for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick runs clean. Let it rest on the counter for at least 30-45 minutes before removing and slicing. Use a sharp, serrated knife to slice and enjoy!
